Intended use
This device is intended to be used for the in vitro quantitative determination of total thyroxine (TT4) in human whole blood, serum or plasma. And it is for professional use only, not for self-testing of untrained individuals, nor for near-patient testing.
Summary
Total thyroxine (TT4) is one of the hormones secreted by the thyroid gland, and its main role is to promote the metabolism of substances and energy, and promote the process of growth and development. In human blood, more than 99% of thyroxine is bound to three plasma proteins, namely, 70% of thyroxine (T4) is bound to thyroxine-binding globulin, 20% of T4 is bound to thyroxine-binding prealbumin, and 10% is bound to thyroxine-binding prealbumin. Only 0.03% of T4 is bound to albumin and exists in the blood in a free state. Total thyroxine is an important indicator for the detection of hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism. Hypothyroidism, myxedema, and chronic thyroiditis can lead to a decrease in thyroxine; hyperthyroidism due to Graves's disease and toxic thyroid adenoma (Plummer's disease) can lead to an increase in total thyroxine.
Current clinical methods for detecting TT4 include chemiluminescence method, immunochromatography method, and etc.

FAQ
Q: Can the quality control materials of the reagents be purchased?
A: Yes.
Q: Can reagents from different batches be mixed?
A: No.
Q: Are the results of CRP, SAA whole blood and peripheral blood the same?
A: Our laboratory big data test results show that the test results of CRPSAA on whole blood and fingertip blood are consistent. In the process of detecting fingertip blood, the inspecting doctor should try to avoid inhaling impurities such as subcutaneous tissue, which may lead to deviations in the test results.
This question is placed under the two products of CRP and SAA.
Q: Is it possible to add emergency testing to our instrument in the middle of the testing process?
A: LYOFIA 100, DISKFLU 1000, these two instruments can achieve.
This question is placed under LYOFIA 100, DISKFLU 1000, these two products.
