Intended use
This Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) FIA Test is a rapid test to quantitatively detect the levels of FSH in human blood samples, including whole blood, serum and plasma, which is tested by LYOFIA® platform from VACURE Biotech.

Summary
FSH is a protamine hormone secreted by the pituitary gland, its main function is to promote the development and generation of follicles, and can promote the secretion of estrogen and ovulation of follicles. The normal menstruation of women also requires the support of this hormone. Generally speaking, the normal value of female FSH is 1.7-8.51.7-8.5mIU/ml, and this value will change with the change of female menstrual cycle. If the value of female FSH is high, it generally means that the female ovarian function is impaired. The patient may have diseases such as premature ovarian failure and ovarian dysplasia, and needs to consult a doctor in time. If the value of female FSH is low, it may be related to factors such as long-term oral hormone drugs and polycystic ovary syndrome.
