The vast majority of blood coagulation analysis is sent to the laboratory for testing by an automated coagulation instrument after blood collection. The turnaround time is long, and improper delivery and storage can easily affect the quality of the specimen. POCT instruments emerged as the times require. Activated coagulation time (ACT) is the most widely used indicator. It is mainly used in clinical departments. The approximate effect of heparin anticoagulation can be obtained with a drop of peripheral blood. The second is INR, which has developed to the stage of self-testing of patients like blood sugar in foreign countries, which greatly facilitates therapeutic monitoring, and its feasibility and practicability have also been confirmed in specialized anticoagulation clinics. At present, it may be too early to carry out self-testing in China, and we only discuss how to achieve good clinical application.
