Rationale: Serum or plasma and acridine ester-conjugated mAb are placed in test tubes coated with anti-catacalcin mAb. Repeated washes after incubation (room temperature, dark) remove excess tracer solution. The measuring tube is directly measured with a photometer. In the test, the injection of H2O2 and NaOH resulted in a light signal, which was measured in relative light units against a standard curve, which was then converted to PCT concentration.
